Description of Chill Roller

The chill roller adopts special temperature equalization technology such as internal water circulation, which can quickly transfer the heat absorbed by the working area to both ends, maintaining a highly uniform temperature on the chill roller surface, the temperature difference can be controlled within ±1℃. This design not only increases the temperature difference between the hot material and the roller surface, but also avoids local supercooling causing condensation (operating above the dew point temperature).

In biaxially oriented polyfilm production line (BOPP, BOPET etc.), the chill roller through rapid solidification molten polymers, directly affect the crystallinity of films and the surface roughness.
